For the last 8 months i have been working on my son's first car. it's a 70 standard single port 1600. I know that it is not quite the burner most of you guys have but for a 16 year old to start out with I think it's just fine. We have added dual 34's and it came with 87mm pistons so I guess it's a little better than stock. We narrowed the front 2.25" and dropped it about 3.5" It's still in bits and pieces but coming along. just hope teenagers today ... We will start around 10:00am. This year's route will take us to some of our favorite stops from past runs. It will be a little shorter than last year and there won't be as many steep grades. The host hotel this year is the Super 8. It is under the same managment as the Best Western and it is less expensive, plus they have an indoor pool.
