Nooblet here on the forum
Noob here to the forum's, figure I would introduce myself. Name is Rob, and I live in Lewisville,NC (yes ,I know fifty-Five
) and have been into VW's since I was 17...34 now. Try and play with Dub's as much as possible and I have a 62 ragtop I have been working on for about a year now...nothing special. Did just find out this week that my 2276cc was on the way so I hope to be busy doing that this weekend or next week. Well here she is...don't knock her...I know most of you have show quality bugs so cut her some slack,LOL

Re: Nooblet here on the forum
Well, thank's for the warm welcome ,and if 55 makes it to dyno day....i'll be there
. The 2276 was built by Grease Monkey Racing (GMR) out of Southern Cali.( A club member). It has a 82mm CB crank, Mahle 94mm piston's and cylinder's, Schadek oil pump 30mm?(don't remember the size), Engle 120 cam, CB 044 head's with 40x35.5 valves no porting(not sure on the ratio for the rocker arm's), Chromoly I beam's,Weber 44 idf's, 8.5:1 CR, lightened flywheel,Full flow, Compufire electronic ignition(coil packs) and I am hoping for 150-160 hp at the fly wheel. Left room on the table for more HP , I know...but this is going to be my daily so I'm sure I will be happy. If I do decide to get a wild hair up my ass and do some head work....anyone do port and polishing on here?
