Re: Happy birthday....
Thanks, sorry I'm so late in the reply. Been fishing a lot, and working on the Model T, and getting ready for the Vintage VW Treffen to come through town, haven't been on the World Wide interweb thingie much.

Re: Happy birthday....
Jerry, I **like** to fish, i's one of the reasons I moved up here
We get Salmon, Cod, Perch, Clams, Dungeness Crab, lotsa good stuff... and this is pretty much a fishing paradise.
Yep, building a Model T hot rod.
Dang near stuick a 2276 in the front with a Powerglide, but decided a little more traditional was the way to go, Chevy V-6, TH350, Maverick V-8 rear end, old school Tru-Spoke wire wheels, 4 inch dropped Super Bell dropped axle, Malibu disc brakes, TCI Model A chassis, blah, blah, blah.
It's actually further along than this, I've just been too lazy to get any photos of the finished firewall, top wood, and other stuff.

And this is what I did, instead of going to the VW Classic... and that is NOT one one the small bumper stickers, it's the full size on, it's all I had to show the size, and then it went onto the boat

Just be sure the cowl vent is not lost during the firewall installation....elimates the need for A/C.

Re: Happy birthday....
I have a bunch of key fobs from Frito-Lay for their Race Across America car that a friend of mine used to mechanic for.
Don't know the year, but they look similar.

Re: Happy birthday....
Mine's a 1926 (or 1927, they are virtually identical, but it's titled as a 26) and the key fob is a very detailed representation of a 1930 or 1931 Tudor Sedan (Model A)
Sometimes with these old Fords, it's like trying to tell a 1962 Bug from a 1963...
and the cowl vent was actually originally the fuel filler door, the gas tank on the later Model T's and all Model A's, is right over the dashboard... but's going to be the "Poor Man's Air condiditoning" when I'm done, as the gas tank got relocated to behind the rear seat. The other A/C is that, waaay before VW did it on the Buses, this thing has a Safari windshield. Doesn't go all the way out to horizontal like a Bus does, but the bottom pops out a good 6 or so inches, more then enough to knock your hair back.
