That weekend we'll be at Maxton NC...
Land Speed Racing.. Hopefully the mods I made to the 911 today picked up the extra .5 MPH Beth needed to get the record.

Here she is on the pass that was 1/2 of 1 MPH from the standing record of 149.750 MPH

Good Luck at Maxon, I know you two can make the record happen. Sorry the events are the same weekend, you are always welcome at Farmington. That means Bruce Cook will not be there either since I know that he is involved in the Land Speed Records as well with his Beetle.

Since I didn't get to attend an event before 95 at Farmington, I don't know what the good ole days were like. But I do know that we try our best to put on a good show for everyone to enjoy and the attendance is bigger there then anywhere else.

I have lots of pics from 83-89 wet T contest......Flash the guys bikini contest.... and the biggest suprize.....I used to drive my bug (orange 61) to every one of them.. hell that was my only car ! Shocked

The last Farmington show I went to was in 91 or 92. They started sharing show space with the mini-trucks at the time and I was starting to wonder if it was the beginning of the end.
