Eureka Springs Arkansas -August 27 - 29, 2010

The Overtons are booked @ The Swiss Village Inn and Suites for Aug. 26-30.....

So are the Hawkins.....at least I think I got the dates right !

almost all the hotels are close to the action. Each hotel typically has alot of their own action occuring at this event. The basin inn downtown is not close to the action nor is any of the bed and breakfast places. they are a little more remote to the action. however, if that floats your boat there are several restored homes that are nice.

get your rooms quick as this town gets sold out weeks in advance. you can also get a standby list at the host hotel site. they typically have a few last minute cancelations if you want to go that route.

glad to see some of you making the trip. with or without your cars. for those of you who don't bring a ride, you will wish you did. nothing like cruzing the town friday night with hundreds of vw's owning every bar / resturant parking lot. don't forget to bring your trailers -lol. this is also a tourist area as well with lots of shops along the route.

kinda like Gatlinburg if you know what i mean.

i'm about to call, planning to leave out thursday and then come back tuesday morning.
hopefully others will be driving through memphis heading over there, i'd like to join in the caravan, convoy, etc.

the 4 hour trek on sunday, i don't have a bug to drive for that but i do have an air cooled vehicle i could trailer over there. harley davidson.

6 weeks to go. another one of the mid-coast crew has confirmed he is bringing the heat this time. freshly done 63 vert. will be one of the finest you will see.

this thing is off the charts beutiful.

that will make at least 5 magazine cover cars that are locked in. and these bitches are not trailer queen's. well maybe one but he has a good excuse (health reasons).

hope to see you there- show-n how the mid-coast does it.

20 more days,

a lot more special awards to be handed out this. we get so many high quality cars. we are going to share in the love.

thursday night is already looking like to be another huge party. if you can get there early join us at the host hotel or accross the street at the joy. both are very good atmosphere's.

camping ground just out of town is filling up as well. at least 20 plus folks are reserving spots for a good time , i mean wild time out at the camp grounds. rules are typically broken there. so if you are into rules. this might not be the place for you.

just one more day til the party gets started. yep, folks are already heading that way to set up on thursday.

on a sad note: a death in the family has shaken up all our plans for this weekend. we won't be going to the show now. so enjoy it. alot of work has gone into making it one hell of an event for ya.
