North Ga. Gas Station

Thought if we could ever get a club shot near a vintage station that would be cool or if you know of one post it ?
This one is up 985 like you would be going to Jake's - maybe it could be hit going or leaving his Dyno day.

That place is sweet ......

I just love all this old gas stations. Last time I was over did we took the wrong way to Silver Dollar raceway. We end up outside this old gas station. It was well worth the wrong way we took.

I still work on some of those...I work for a Wayne distributor,one of the oldest pump companies.I have restored a couple for display.
There's a place on 280/431 So. of Opelika that has lots of the old station stuff.The big double-sided pole signs,oil tank that was always out front,etc.
The "American Pickers" show was filming about 20 miles from me on Hwy 31.They never say exactly where they are,but I knew the place as soon as they showed the front yard.
They bought a truck load of jugs for $1,000,and flipped them for $1,600.

Bet that was some neat footage. May try to hit a few this weekend with the car.
