I am buildin a 60 euro from the pan up but i am hood ridin it ..are yall goin to let hood rides in the club

Thats too nice a car and alot of work you are doing to build a MADE UP Ratrod (VW People dont like the term HOODRIDE ) ...... Finish that car the right way .....

Maybe the correct term would be patina..and as far as building a car the" RIGHT WAY" I am from the pan up .

Now, I know we aren't "in the club" but seems to be the cool thing. Atleast at the shows us newbies have been to........more & more ratrod, patina er, hoodrides out there these days. Solid car from ground up, the OS way even ! Cant imagine why a paint job would make or break it. Thought the main problem here was DEDICATION not appearance..............

I know its being built the right way .... Just seems like alot of effort not to do it all the way since you have great help to do it ..... and I think the term you are looking for is FAtina ( Fake Patina ) ......

Sounds like OS helped you with this post ...... DEDICATION has never been my problem I've been into these cars for 25 years ... Lack of Fulltime gainful income has been my problem most recently .......

PATANIA ARE THE THING NOW ..AND KX3 THEIR IS MORE WORK INVOLVED TO PATINA A CAR THAN JUST PUT A SHINY COAT OF PAINT ON IT ...GIVES THE CAR CHARACTER...IN MAKES THEM UNIQUIE ....HOW IS YOURS COMIN ?

Funny that either of you think you know what the " Thing " is now since you just got into the hobby ...... My car is fine thanks for asking and I think I already explained the reason you haven't seen me ...... When I say I'm broke I really am not like some on here that cry POOR MOUTH and are building cars etc .....
