Re: New to this forum
Well someone told me to stop in the BK forum and check out the guy weezin' on my username.
Very nice Oval you have there "lil no-h". Lots of effort went into that one. You should be very proud of that ride. No, I don't wish I had an Oval. Link pin/swingaxle cars are not my thing. I would rather not drive a car that could use donor part off Ben Hur's chariot or refer to the old testiment for set up specs. Don't get me wrong, I love to look at Splits and Ovals. Just don't realy want to drive one.
Havn't had time to stop in here in a long time. Have been wide open on customer cars. So what is the latest on the 2010 Dyno Day. I don't see a thread for it yet.

Standing.
OS. I have always wondered aboyut that. Oh wait. I have been to that show before.
Laz and I both swapped up our engines. Mine is not complete yet. It has been a longer that planned road for both of us. I will have to spray mt tires down with round-up before I will be able to pull it out of the garage as I think it has put down roots.

I didn't realize some-else on here was using the same name. I own a company called "noh2o engineering" est 1985.. Building engines specifically, with a once in a while car restoration. It is a hobby shop mostly or an excuse to spend money.
glad your on the site as well. oh and for being the quote original, I think i just out-posted you - lol.... hope you can take this with a smile.
name is Jeff..

dave is good like that. he can take it, i must say the road was long but the end was satisfying. i drove 2 hrs to lexington,sc today in the rain and 2 hrs back this afternoon, not even a hiccup. ran about 75 for close to half the trip. the other half was spent behind a splitty bus with a top speed of 55 down hill.

I don't spend much time over here so my post count is very low. I show up from time to time to talk smack with the "Resto Custom" crowd. Laz, Yellow 73 and I are from the Germanlook dark side. We will be the ones busting your balls for running those 135 front tires on prehistoric suspension that dates back to the great flood.Noh2o wrote:I didn't realize some-else on here was using the same name. Re: New to this forum
They were handed over to a former Marine that has some mental problems. He thought that being the administrator gave him the right to ditch the forums and use the domain name to open an online store to sell parts geared toward the very crowd he had just pissed off. he will go broke before he sells anything to the Germanlook crowd. A couple of us secured the files, I bought a new domain name, Sandeep relaunched it as www.germanlook.net and it back up and running and the global Germanlook community is very happy to have it back. You must have missed the email as you drive one of those prehistoric, cookiecutter, Farmall suspension cars.overspray wrote:Tell me......what happened to the GL forums ??????

Everyone wants a car that drives well. Driving a stock linkpin/swingaxle car is like going to the Dr. with a problem and having him pull a jar of leaches and a candle out to cure you.VOLKSWAGENUT wrote:Noh2o wrote:you know you want to as well nut. don't be scared... you just might start something.

NUT, the truth will set you free my friend.
be careful, we may have started something by coming clean. I know the rest of you have a fatchick in your past or present.
now back to the smack, our pre-historic cars will always look better. you put all the make-up and new shoes you want on them, it still is a fatchick.

OS,
I can send you the link so that when you realize the error of your ways and want to TURN FAST to the true calling and BRAKE from your current trailer dependency .... you can use it!!!
Nut,
It is a good first step with your therapy that you have told everyone about the 76, the next step will be to show your deep down desire to drive an authentic late model....
